Merchant sent a slipper claiming it was a US10 and the size printed on the slipper UK40 is incorrect. Upon trying on the slipper it doesn't fit, which contradicts her statement. Merchant refuses to exchange for the right size and has a total disregard for the situation. Would not purchase from her again.

While I loved the quality of the shoe, and I appreciated the sellers responsiveness, I had to rank my experience low as I ultimately will not be able to wear the shoes.
As you can see from the pictures, the toe-hole is way too big (my foot can actually sit on the sandal base, I just slid my foot left and right to show what happens when your foot slides around). The seller noted that I should have mentioned that I have small toes, but I don't. My toes are pretty average. In addition to sizing your foot length, I would suggest if you are interested in these shoes, make sure that you dialogue extensively on the front-end about toe sizing to ensure that you get an accurate fit. (I've never had to have that conversation for this style of shoe, so I'm not sure how best to advise.)
I really liked them and the seller was willing to work with me on a solution...however, after uncovering the prohibitive shipping cost to return to seller (more than twice what I paid), I tried to get them fixed locally (which also would have been cost-prohibitive).
