Sapataria Socorrinho is an artisan shoe production workshop founded by Manuel Gonçalves, better known as Socorrinho in 1974 in Praia, Cape Verde. Unfortunately, the shoemaker Socorrinho passed away in 2011.

Since 2017 his youngest daughter, Leila Gonçalves, now known as daughter Socorrinho, has continued her father trabalhos work by bringing modernization to sandals Socorrinho not letting the shoe store close its doors!
Our store produces handcrafted sandals with many different designs and with diversified materials such as leather, African fabric, cowries, burlap, and plastics, which is a new trend. We have sandals for men, women, children and we also produce customized or adapted sandals for people with disabilities.
The store continues, due to the great admiration and respect for Socorrinho's efforts.
